From Batgirl #21 by Simone/Pasarin.
I actually had some jokes in the last two issues that were way too dirty and we had to remove them.

A kickstarter for a book of poems about videogames to be published by Sidekick Books - please have a look!
I wrote the introduction for this. It’s good stuff, and well worth supporting.
CAKE DEBUT: Amazing Facts and Beyond by Dan Zettwoch & Kevin Huizenga
Leon Beyond is the know-it-all, relentless-fact-baking brain child of cartoonists Kevin Huizenga and Dan Zettwoch. Part John Hodgman, part garage sale Popular Mechanics, Leon Beyond drops knowledge every week in the comics section of the St. Louis Riverfront Times. Amazing Facts & Beyond collects the comic-strip’s best and most mental adventures. Discover the world of Memory Palaces, Volcano Graffiti, Baseball Slang, Novelty Rap Commercials, and Knee Hole Skirts. Learn new words and concepts: winkaton, piehabitant, optogenerian. Mark your avante garde cat calendar as you travel to the Pancake and Eggs Nebula. Meticulously un-researched and full of dubious knowledge, Amazing Facts & Beyond is the postmodern successor to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. Featuring special guest contributors, a comprehensive Beyondex, and behind- the-scenes special sections.

The most underappreciated part of the comics process.
Also, I wish I could showcase how awesome I was using a single sheet of paper.
I’ll be at Heroes Con in Charlotte, N.C., this weekend. You can find me at Artist Alley table 814, right next to my Green Lantern Corps partner in crime Rob Venditti (if you can find me through Rob’s horde of fans). I’ll also be teasing something that is both old and new. See above. (Art by Jose Pimienta, colors by Matthew Petz)
Street Angel - Elektra Assassin homage on Flickr.
I love Elektra: Assassin by Frank Miller & Bill Sienkiewicz. So I was excited when someone commissioned a recreation of the 1987 trade paperback cover with Street Angel and the Bald Eagle replacing Elektra and the great John Garrett (you can see my version of John Garrett in Strange Tales volume 1 or a sample of it here).
